22 Weekly Worksheets...
Designed to be used one a week as we go through our collective scheme
of work for Foundation GCSE Maths. Draft answer sheets do exist but many
typos so sorting those out before I put these here.
All PDF files, most two sides, some 3 sides to allow diagrams and
grids.
- Weekly Worksheet 1: Prime numbers, square numbers, perimeter and area of shapes drawn on 1cm grids
- Weekly Worksheet 2: Multiplication and division, problem questions, recognising half of things
- Weekly Worksheet 3: BIDMAS, negative numbers and powers including whole number indices and squares/roots and cubes/roots
- Weekly Worksheet 4: Factors, multiples, LCM and HCF, multiplying powers of the same number by adding the powers, dividing powers of the same number by dividing the powers
- Weekly Worksheet 5: Fractions
- Weekly Worksheet 6: Percentages non-calculator including some problem questions
- Weekly Worksheet 7: Fractions, decimals and percentages, converting and putting in order
- Weekly Worksheet 8: Ratio and proportion (no recipe questions)
- Weekly Worksheet 9: Timetables and speed, distance, time, including some fractional hours
- Weekly Worksheet 10: Interpreting charts with one chart drawing question, including a tally chart
- Weekly Worksheet 11: Tally charts, continuous and discrete data, questionnaire questions, mileage charts.
- Weekly Worksheet 12: Mean, mode, median, range, stem and leaf diagrams
- Weekly Worksheet 13: Scatter diagram, draw a pie chart, compare two pie charts (proportions)
- Weekly Worksheet 14: Probability including likelihood words and combined probability using a possibility space diagram for two spinners
- Weekly Worksheet 15: Algebraic expressions from adding letters to multiplying out brackets and factorising completely
- Weekly Worksheet 16: Solving equations and inequalities including number line notation for open and closed intervals
- Weekly Worksheet 17: Making expressions and sequences including the nth term (not any pattern questions)
- Weekly Worksheet 18: Plotting coordinates and straight line graphs from formula, functional graph question
- Weekly Worksheet 19: Metric and imperial unit recognition, a tile problem, a conversion chart question, and a simple area but with dimensions in mixed units
- Weekly Worksheet 20: Angle names and facts including triangles, angles on a straight line, interior angles of a quadrilateral but not parallel lines
- Weekly Worksheet 21: Angles on parallel lines, regular polygon questions, more measuring
- Weekly Worksheet 22: Naming shapes, symmetry, congruence, similarity, tesselation
I've used these in different ways with different groups: starters,
practice at writing down methods, half hour test at the end of a 3 hour
lesson, catch up work for those absent, homework.
