Numeracy blog and scientific calculator
Carol publishes the Blogging for Numeracy blog aimed at Numeracy tutors and is recording her use of blogging as a tool to support numeracy students.
She has also put me on to a very nice Flash animation that provides a fully functional scientific calculator. I especially like the ‘tool tips’ tab – very neat.

Finally, an entry on Blogging For Numeracy pointed me to a most interesting demonstration course at the Scottish Further Education Unit Web site called Writing and Developing On-line Learning. Just look at the page just linked and follow the instructions to log into the courses.
